Cedar Valley Strikes Gold in Bonita Springs

Cedar Valley Corp. was the recipient of two paving awards at the annual American Concrete Pavement Association's national meeting held in Bonita Springs, Florida, December 2nd and 3rd, 2010.

During the 21st Annual Excellence in Concrete Pavement Awards Presentation, Cedar Valley Corp. was awarded two Gold Awards, the highest honor presented nationally to recognize quality in concrete pavement.  The awards program recognizes contractors, engineers, and project owners who completed outstanding projects in 2010. 

The first Gold Award in the County Roads category was for work completed on Garfield Avenue in Sioux City, Iowa.  The second Gold Award was in the Overlay - Streets and Roads category for work completed on County Road A-34 in Joice, Iowa, Worth County.

The American Concrete Pavement Association's Annual Awards for Excellence in Concrete Pavement are intended to honor quality concrete pavements constructed in the United States and Canada each year.  The awards program encourages high-quality workmanship in every concrete pavement project and serves as a forum for sharing information about highly successful projects.
