Hiring Requirements

Cedar Valley Corp. hires new employees at the start of each season and as needed throughout the season. Applications will be accepted beginning February 15th and ending October 15th of each calendar year. Applicants are encouraged to apply in person at the home office located at 2637 Wagner Road, Waterloo IA, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to travel. Cedar Valley Corp.’s projects are primarily in Iowa but the company also bids work in Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota and Minnesota.
  • Must have reliable transportation, applicant’s with a valid driver’s license are preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer physical and drug test.

WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR ALL HOURLY FIELD POSITIONS BETWEEN FEBRUARY 15TH AND OCTOBER 15TH ANNUALLY.


Requirements for all positions include
Individual must be dependable with ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.  Must be able to work well with others and promote a team environment.  Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.  Must pass a post-offer physical and drug test.


Drug Free Workplace
Cedar Valley Corp. recognizes the problems of substance abuse in society and in the workplace. Substance abuse poses a serious threat to our employees and customers. By enacting a zero tolerance substance abuse policy, CVC hopes to combat the problems associated with abuse by creating a drug free workplace. This policy applies consistently to all groups of employees, including prospective employees.

• Rehabilitation testing


HIPPA Policy
All employees are given a Notice of Privacy Practices describing how protected health information may be used or disclosed by our Group Health Plans to carry out payment, health care operations, and other purposes permitted or required by law. This Notice also sets out our legal obligations concerning your protected health information, and describes your rights to access and control your protected health information. This Notice of Privacy Practices had been drafted to be consistent with the legislation known as the "Health Insurance Portability and Privacy Act." This Notice of Privacy Practices became effective on April 14, 2004.

We are obligated to provide employees with a copy of this Notice of our legal duties and of our privacy practices with respect to protected health information and we must abide by the terms of this Notice. We reserve the right to change the provisions of our Notice and make the new provisions effective for all protected health information that we maintain. If we make a material change to our Notice, we will mail a revised Notice to the address that we have on record for the contract holder.
