2008 Grinding Services
For your 2008 PCC Pavement Grinding, Grooving, or Profiling needs, please consider the following services:

* A 3 hour minimum grinding charge may apply if billable mobilization hours exceed grinding hours.
** Additional fees may apply if profilograph and grinding are not done in the same mobilization.
- Our PC-390S Boart Longyear grinder has a grinding head width of 38" and a 350 horsepower Cummins engine. The Cushion Cut HG-130 groover usually travels with the crew, reducing time
and therefore the cost of the operation.
- Water, Traffic Control, and Slurry clean-up (if needed) are all to be furnished by others
- Cedar Valley Corp. can pump the slurry into vehicles furnished by others at no additional charge,
but this does slow the process down somewhat.
- Each member of our Profilograph Team is currently certified by the Iowa DOT to perform profilograph testing.
- All water is to be provided by the contractor. Potable water is not a necessity, but water must be
from a trash-free source such as a fire hydrant.
